EVENT: Why Should Working People Ever Trust the Conservatives Again?
Conference 2025 event with Robert Jenrick, Esther McVey & Jack Rankin

Join Blue Collar Conservatism at the 2025 Conservative Conference in Manchester where will be asking why working people should put their trust in the Conservatives again.
2019 was a historic opportunity to transform Britain in the interests of working people. Across the Midlands and North voters and constituencies who had never voted Conservative before delivered a mandate for real change. They wanted Brexit done, which we did, but then what? Mass migration, lockdown, higher taxes and our towns and cities looking shabbier with empty shop fronts and graffiti. By 2024 Workington Man felt let down and the Conservatives were given their marching orders.
Now we have a Labour Government which keeps proving no matter how bad things are they can find ways to make them worse. The Conservatives have continued to slide in the polls as many more life long Conservatives start to think Reform offer a better prospect. Reform say all the right things on immigration, not so much on welfare, but there are plenty who will say 'might as well give them a chance, they couldn't do much worse'.
If we are ever to form a Government able to clean up Labour's mess and genuinely make things better we need to reach these voters once again. We cannot write them off. There is no fantasy coalition of liberal voters out there waiting for us to deliver reheated centrism and there is certainly not enough seats to deliver a majority. If we want to change our country we need working people from Kent to Cumbria to put their trust in us once again and not gamble on Reform.
So how do we do it? Why should working people trust the Conservatives ever again?
Join Shadow Justice Secretary, Robert Jenrick, Windsor MP Jack Rankin and Blue Collar's Co-Founders Esther McVey and Clark Vasey as we attempt to answer why.
